In July 2017, Hope For Future Generations (HFFG) conducted the following activities Familiarization visits to seven communities and four (4) Civil Society Organisations operating in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Assembly. A total of seven (7) Community dialogue sessions were held to reach 156 people (being 106 males and 47 females), Selection of 22 community Advocates to be trained on the Watershed Programme - to empower citizens to demand for integration of Water Access Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM). Official launch of the Watershed programme at local level. The event brought together both key stakeholders and community members. At the meeting, key government stakeholders and traditional rulers pledged their support for the programme as it will help achieve the SDGs (3 & 6).
