Watershed empowering citizens programme Kenya Work package partners (CESPAD, NIA, KEWASNET, KWAHO, Wetlands international kenya, akvo and simavi) have been actively engaged in the use of akvorsr. A training organized by KEWASNET in partnership with akvo brought together the programme partners for a two days workshop that was held at Gelian Hotel In Machakos on 24th and 25th April 2018. The workshop sought to empower partners on the use of akvorsr in election promises monitoring at the national level and county level in mainly three counties i.e. Kajiado, Laikipya and Nairobi Counties.
Tabitha Gerrets one of the facilitators, was impressed by the good work that the partners were already doing in the country and she urged them to improve the stories they share via the tool. Phylis gichuru from akvo added that for the use of akvorsr to be more effective, it is important to use photos that can tell a story.
It is envisaged that moving forward, the updates that will be posted by watershed kenya work package partners will be more sharper than they have been in the best.
